He wants a left-footed centre-back who can rotate with Lloyd Kelly, while another defender would also be required if Bremer departs. Tomori and Jean-Clair Todibo are among the names being assessed.
Juventus sporting director Frederic Massara’s interest in Tomori is rooted in their previous time together at Milan. As part of the Rossoneri management team, Massara watched Tomori form a successful defensive partnership with Pierre Kalulu during Milan’s Serie A title-winning campaign. That familiarity naturally strengthens Tomori’s position on Juventus’ shortlist, especially because Kalulu is already in Turin.

His main weakness has always been the inconsistency of his defensive decision-making. Juventus nevertheless value his ability to make an immediate impact and believe his pace could quickly fill the gap left by Bremer.
